But if the land was truly theirs, why would they have to run and leave, why would they die?

1 point

Your piece of evidence isn't strong for your side, I don't mean to insult religion or anything, but just because a book says the land is theirs, doesn't mean it is.

The Israelis were there the just left in great groups, leaving few people. Yes they were there, but they abandoned the land.

1 point

They Palestinians provoked them? I think invading a country with people who live there and call it home and kicking them out would be provoking someone, fighting back would just be self defense and defiance.

1 point

They didn't OWN the country, it was given to them by people who had no right to give it away.

2 points

Untrue, they don't deserve the land any more or equivalently as the Palestinians, the Palestinians have been there and never left but the Jews left, all but a few. It's like a person leaves a house, so you go to live in it. Years later, the person comes back and kicks you out forcefully.

Yes they were there first, but did they stay? No, they left in big groups leaving small amounts of Jews left, and this isn't enough to call the country theirs. The UN did not own the land, and they gave it away, which wasn't fair. You're right, no one OWNED the land, but that doesn't give someone the right to give it away. The Palestinians have been there and never left for generations. The Palestinians deserve the land.

I agree. The Palestinians had lived their forever, a lot of Jews lived in Europe. When they started being killed and forced out of the country, people felt bad and when the war was over, they gave them a country. Now the Palestinians are going through almost the same thing, killed in wars, exiled out of homes and communities to concentration camps, I don't see a Palestine on the map, they've suffered as the Jews have suffered. Why should these two groups be treated any differently?

1 point

It's not so simple, hundreds of people leaving their homes where their grandfathers grandfathers grew up. Imagine you have to move out of your home today. You have to pack everything and all of Wisconsin has to leave as well. Packing and leaving isn't so 'simple.'

The Jews had no right to come to Israel and kick hundreds of Palestinians out of their homes and neighborhoods. The Palestinians were living on the land since the beginning of recorded history, and never left the small land mass, which eventually evolved into a place they called home. I think it was unfair and cruel that the Jews came back as forcefully as they did, it wasn't their land.
