I disagree with you Emmie. Yes the Israelis won the war, but so what. Just because you had better and larger army does not have anything to do with if you deserve the land or not. The Palestinians deserve the land because they were there when the United Nations gave part of the land to you. The Palestinians were there when Israel was developing. Israel is very religiously important to Palestinians (Muslims) for many reasons. Like I said before, according to www.gatestoneinstitute.org, also know as the International Policy Council, Muslims were initially commanded to pray toward Jerusalem because of their religion, and Jerusalem is in Israel. Also according to this source, Muslims believe that Muhammad ascended to heaven and back from "The Rock" which is today, the dome of the "Rock" in Jerusalem. Muhammad is important to their religion, so to honor Muhammad the Palestinians (Muslims) go to this "Rock" which is in Jerusalem, Israel. I does not matter if you won the war or not.

I agree with you Courtney. The United Nations gave the Israelis part of Israel because they needed a home land because of the holocaust. When the Israelis got part of the land they should have been grateful to have at least something, but no, they fought a war to get more land from the Palestinians who had the land first. And when the Israelis won the war, and were fighting the war, the Israelis destroyed over 400 cities like you said, and sent lots of people to flee what was truly their land.

I agree with you Trevor. Some people would argue that God promised the land of Israel to the Jews, but the Jewish claimed to the land because of their religion. Saying God gave them the land does not Provide good reason for Muslims because they do not believe in the same religion as the Jews do.

I agree Dakota. The Palestinians have always been there all throughout history and never left. They never left Israel in big numbers like the Jewish people did way back. The Palestinians were there when the city of Israel was developing as a country. There is no time in history that they have not lived there.
