According to the Qur'an, the burqa is considered to be "modest" clothing. Woman who live in Islamic counties' and wear the burqa rarely gather unwanted attention. Relationships in the Islamic religion are arranged marriages, where the parents pick. Studies show that in Afghanistan 0.01% of Afghans have AIDs or HIVs, and the average woman in Afghanistan has 5-6 children. These facts show that not many woman in Afganistan get sexually abused, and that men and woman do not commit adultury. In the Qur'an it says to respect eachothers bodies, because it is holy. Many women who wear the burqa feel as if they are accomplishing Allah's orders, most woman feel that the burqa is a large part of expressing their faith.
If you were truely friends with some one you wouldn't care how they look like. So it doesn't matter if they wear a burqa, hijab, chador, or any other type of clothing.
I agree, France was the first European country to ban the burqa, which then lead to other European countries to ban the buraq.
Burqa's are a religous clothing item that should not be banned by western countries. People should gave the freedom to wear whatever they want.
